Gulnaz is working on her masters degree at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. She’s a 2008 graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, with a degree in English and Women’s Studies. For two years prior to enrolling at Medill, she taught eighth grade English/Language Arts in Texas' Rio Grande Valley with Teach for America. As a student, she produced and hosted a radio show about women and girls in New Orleans. She also deejayed for WTUL, Tulane’s radio station. Gulnaz spent a summer as a newsroom intern at WFPL Louisville, an NPR affiliate. She is now, and always will be, a Kentuckian at heart. Twitter. LinkedIn.
